We never stop experimenting and oh boy, are we glad that this beautiful
shade of green rolled into our lives. We knew immediately: we had to put it
onto a C40 grinder! This colorway is almost an old classic, except we added a little modern twist to make a rich green hue with a subtle sparkle! This is a super robust powder coating applied directly to the stainless-steel grinder body. Like all Comandante® grinders, it is aluminum free and made with 100% food safe materials. World class grind performance. Engineered to last generations. Made in Germany.

We refined the geometry and structure of the Nitro Blade burr to get the grind performance we were looking for and the particle distribution which worked best with brewing fresh ground specialty arabica beans. Manufacturing a Nitro Blade is a serious engineering task which requires special tools and machinery, excellent craftsmanship and lots of experience. High-nitrogen martensitic steel is extremely difficult to work with. But when finished, it is tough, highly wear resistant and has a high degree of edge retention.
